Sure, I may be a nomad, or a Gyspy (minus the thievery, of course), but I certainly wouldn’t consider myself homeless.  In fact, I’ve had many homes in the last 5 months.  Just when one house sitting stint ends, another one pops up and I find myself living in a dream house on a dream vineyard.  It’s surreal, really, how God really does care of the flowers of the field and the birds of the air, and US!  ME!  I’ve daydreamed about living on a vineyard in the Dundee Hills for several years, and perhaps I’ll never actually own a home or a piece of property there, but that dream has become a temporary reality.  It’s soul stirring!

Here’s a little glimpse into some of my homes and “roommates” since November:

My darling tree house room at the B&B. It was great in the sun and the rain.

I woke up to this many mornings at the B&B. No vineyard views, but I'll take this instead.

After the B&B, I moved across the street to the lovely Crumbled Rock Vineyard. I sat in the sun on their sun porch as much as I could. Hopefully Gerry and Julie will travel this summer and ask me to house sit so I can fire up that pizza oven!

Nothing beats a cat cuddle (debatable!). Abbey the Crumbled Rock cat kept me company.

My dear friends Josh, Jonathan, and Christina came over for dinner one night. Josh is a master in the kitchen so we made some delicious food together. *recipe to follow

Then there was Buddy. His mom owns the Daedalus Vineyard and is the winemaker. Cute little house too!

This is the view from my current home. It really doesn't get any better than this.

Celie the other Labradoddle. Double the love. They are the best companions!

And this is where I've been working all weekend. This is our Tualatin Estate Vineyard and it's gorgeous. Tons of picnic tables around and the sun has been shining. It's soul stirring! Spring is Oregon is something to behold!
